The University of Arkansas is thinking up new ways to prepare their students for the real world. The Art of Interactive Journalism is a course taught by Bret Schulte of the Journalism Department and Tom Hapgood of the Art department. Since there are many journalism students and jobs are on the decline, this course is designed to show students the different types of visual and written communication. Check out the first project, the Slide Show Profile, where students shot a series of 10-15 images and included a short cutline/caption. I’ll be excited to see the next project!
